David Smith Managing Director
Dave founded Interface Consultants Ltd. (dba Interface International) in 1978. He has consulted to over 50 small and large firm clients in Canada, the United States and Japan and has been specializing in the emerging growth sector since 1986.
His previous management career includes the Procter & Gamble Co. of Canada, Delta Food Processors Ltd..,
Savolite Chemical, DMR Applied Management & Foodwest Resource
Consultants. As an
entrepreneur he founded and sold his own wholesale/distribution company,
as a salesman he has landed multimillion dollar contracts and as a
venture capitalist has placed over $10 Million for his clients. He has also served on the
board or directors of a variety of public and private technology firms,
business associations and non-profit societies.
Dave is a B.Sc. (Honours) graduate of the University of British Columbia. He is an avid award
winning photographer, adventure traveller and lives in Ambleside "by the
Sea', West
Vancouver. If he is not in aerobics class he is taking
photographs or planning his next trip. He is President of the North
Shore Photographic Society and Founder/Chair of the North
Vancouver Recreation Centre Fitness Advisory Committee. His ham call sign is VE7EC.
